ENVISION YOUR LOUNGE

Strategically located in a high traffic area among the breweries and wineries, your 10′ x 15′ lounge gives the audience a place to gather and experience your brand beyond the runway. Elegantly dressed with a 10′ black velour drape, you can hang banners, setup clothing displays, arrange furniture and entice the crowd with promotional opportunities and giveaways.

  • Lounge setup can start as early as 9AM on December 8th and must be completed by 5PM
  • Models must arrive and check-in by 6PM

Frequently Asked Questions

Your collection will open with a one minute introduction, followed by a little music to get the crowd excited. Each model will spend up-to 30 seconds on the runway, returning to participate in a group walk as the finale. A six look capsule collection should have a duration of no more than six minutes.

Slides will be rear-projected on a 9′ x 12′ screen at the top of the runway in a 4:3 aspect ratio. You are invited to submit one or more opening slides to for your introduction, which must be timed to 1 minute. The slide(s) can include your logo, photos, text and video. The preferred format is Apple Keynote, however PowerPoint and PDF are also acceptable.

Our team will create a slide for each of your looks that has a uniform aesthetic, much like a museum tag (see example). Slides will be displayed on the rear-projection screen at the top of the runway, behind your models as they walk. Each slide will include the the name of your brand and title of your collection as well as following details for each element: (1) item name, (2) designer/brand attribution, and (3) short description of the medium/materials.

The event takes place in The Ballroom, an 8,000 square foot loft space in the east end of the Eastworks building. This industrial-scale ground-floor space can be described as rustic chic, with high ceilings, elegant wood floors, and large south-facing windows that overlook the Lower Mill Pond. There is plenty of parking in the main Eastworks lot as well as an expansive overflow lot behind the building.

Each lounge area is 10′ deep and 15′ wide, strategically positioned near the beer and wine vendors along the west wall of the room. Your area will be marked with a tape line on the floor, with a 10′ tall black velour drape at the rear for hanging banners, posters, and other light weight decor pieces to identify your brand. The space can be used however you wish (e.g. free standing displays, mannequins, furniture to entice visitors, promotional activities, etc.). Let your creativity run wild!

We will have seasoned photographers capturing action shots from the runway as well as arrivals on the red carpet. Professional portraits will be taken of the award winning looks, to be included in the 2016 ECA+ Fashion Calendar. The runway show will also be filmed and live streamed on Facebook and YouTube. Photos and video footage related to your collection will be made available to you after the event.

Yes, absolutely, everyone who walks the runway is eligible to win! The judges will evaluate each look as part of the competition to win one of fifteen fashion awards that will be presented at the end of the show.
